IIDR
Independent Informal Dispute Resolution
In partnership with NH Child Care Licensing Unit

What is IIDR?

The Independent Informal Dispute Resolution commonly referred to as IIDR  is a process for licensed child day care agencies to request an independent review of findings by the Child Care Licensing Unit (CCLU) after first requesting an Informal Dispute Resolution (IDR) in accordance with He-C 4002.07 in which the  IDR did not result in removal of or changes to the findings, and the provider believes they provided sufficient evidence to support removal or revisions to the findings.

The IIDR panel shall consist of providers from licensed child day care agencies that serve the same population as the agency requesting the IIDR, and one member of the Child Care Advisory Council (CCAC). Like the IDR process, the IIDR process is not intended to be a formal or evidentiary hearing, and the outcome does not give rise to appeal rights pursuant to RSA 170-E:35 or He-C 4002.44. As such, the IIDR process provides recommendations to the CCLU and are not subject to appeal. Additionally, the documents and written report created by the IIDR panel are confidential, unless the agency provides written authorization to release specific information, and to whom. The IIDR panel determinations shall be made based upon review of documentation and other evidence provided by the agency requesting the review.
